I haven’t really stopped. When I think of him and what a Marvel Golden Retriever Goldenvengers shirt, I still tear up. Parquet was named for a story told by a woman we knew who was somewhat of a ditz, a middle-eastern dancer/teacher (belly dancer). She was trying to surprise her husband, an over the road long-distance trucker, by pulling up the carpet in their dining room and laying parquet floor tile before he got home. She was a klutz, using a sticky whitish mastic glue that she got all over herself, in her long dark hair, on her clothes/seat of her pants, furniture, and ended up making the biggest mess imaginable,(a mell of a hess) blubbering to her husband when he arrived how she wanted to surprise him, etc. Yeah, he was surprised all right. It was a major humiliation for her but a funny story. It loses a lot in translation.
