The main reason I think that Woods will not triumph is that his body his betraying him and breaking down. Whereas most golfers peak in their mid 30s, Woods seemed to peak in his mid 20s. I believe this is because Woods pioneered "the power game" using his entire body to hit the ball extremely far and at the same time generating a great amount of spin. This was very successful in his formative years as a player and allowed Woods to dominate and reinvent the game of golf as a young man's game.However this power has come at a cost. He has two major surgeries in the last six years which he has struggled to recover from and I think that injury will continue to plight the rest of his career.
