I was fortunate to WIN tickets to see the Beatles at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1964. It was the summer before I went into 8th grade. The performance was a matinee. My father drove my friend and me to the Cow Palace, dropped us off for the show and picked us up afterward. You could not hear one thing except screaming. Being my 1st ever concert I became a groupie for life. I ran up to the stage and even came home with a souvenir of some brown material around the drum stand. I was sure every Beatle touched that piece of material. Beatles still rule. I am 60 years old.
