He and I have been vegetarian for almost a year and on If I get campfire drunk it’s her fault shirt, I have never seen him eat so well, ever, even in his toddler years. This is not an easy road to navigate and we need to support each other. We are experiencing the same thing at my house. Tests came out perfect. We are fortunate to live in a diverse community that has a lot of Asian influence and a number of Indian friends to help with ideas for plenty of options for protein. And there are definitely lots of options. I’d still feel compelled to point out that for a child purely vegetarian food does not provide everything they need. We have never been so creative with our fruits and vegetables. We also have learned about quinoa and black bean burgers!
